Florida Division 9 is one of 27 Divisions in the Florida
District of Kiwanis International, a global organization of volunteers
dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. There are 12 clubs in Lake County and 2 clubs
in Sumter County that perform many community service projects to help serve
children and the communities. We are
looking for people that are interested in performing community service and
helping children in Lake and Sumter Counties.

NEW CLUBS
Every one from Paul Palazzolo, the Kiwanis International President, to Donna Parton, the Florida District Governor, to the District Chairs believe that if Kiwanis is to continue to grow we must start new clubs where ever there is an opportunity. I support their view and would like to see Division 9 start at least 2 new clubs this 2009- year. The past Lt. Governors are discussing the possibility of starting a new club in Tavares and we need your input as to other locations you think might be a good place to consider. Please send me your thoughts both pro and con on this idea. We have a team in place to consider and go forward with this project. Let me hear from you.
